HPI check or Car Data Check is a must for anyone considering buying a
secondhand car whether it is from a private seller or a dealer, it is
even worthwhile doing a check when buying from a friend unless you know

or third party insured a HPI Data Check may not identify the mileage may
not be correct then there are cloned or ringed vehicles which are copies

There are cars that will have been in accidents of different severity
which the owners have repaired themselves which could have had an effect
on the safety of the car but will not have been recorded by insurance
companies so these will not show up in the check when buying a high powered
car a AA, RAC or Competent garage check is money well invested and this
cost should be taken into account when buying the car
